A unique lateral patient positioner with a frame structure that stabilizes the patient from the top down, the Exact-Fit® De Mayo Lateral Positioner® represents a notable advancement over the original De Mayo Hip positioner in various aspects. This self-contained unit can accommodate most patient BMI’s without requiring any component changes, regardless of their size. Unlike other positioners in the market, it uniquely connects both OR table rails into a rigid mechanical structure, providing unparalleled patient stability. Substantial enhancements in stability and the secure lateral positioning of patients have been achieved through changes in the clamping method and increased rigidity of its components.
