PLAINVILLE, Conn. (April 18, 2017) – Innovative Medical Products’ latex-free SLIMLINE™ convoluted foam Hip Abduction Pillow provides greater patient comfort and easier nursing care than standard abduction pillows. The SLIMLINE™ pillows measure 7.5” x 25” x 4” and come vacuum-packed, four to a case.
IMP’s Hip Abduction Pillows are used to immobilize, support and align a patient's legs to prevent hip dislocation after hip surgery or injury. Hip abduction pillows allow patients to be turned to the side without removing the device.
The Universal Abduction Pillow accommodates most patients and is competitively priced. The Universal pillow measures 23.5” x 14.25” x 7” and is vacuum-packed, four to a case.
Designed specifically for pediatric patients, IMP’s Pediatric Abduction Pillow measures 16” x 10.5” x 6”. The pillows come vacuum-packed, five to a case.
All pillow styles feature long straps to accommodate all size calves and thighs. IMP’s pillows are vacuum-packaged to save storage space. When opened about 10-15 minutes before use, the pillows will return to their original shape.
